Hi there! I realized recently that it had been ages since I worked with one of Ching-Chou Kuik‘s gorgeous images….so I had to fix that π I colored the image Intense Red, from this amazing set of mermaid images, with my Copics. I used a die to cut out part, and fussy cut the rest.
The die that I used to partially cut the image is the inside of a gorgeous die set, which I used to cut the black frame. A deep blue background paper coordinated well with the image colors, and provides contrast to the frame. I carefully added some gold gems to outline the inside part of the frame, and some roses for the card embellishments. I really love the striking effect this card has π
