Teddy Rocker

Hi there 🙂 Today is the start of a new challenge over at Creative Fingers. As always, our challenge is ATG, as we love to see anything and everything that you create!! Our wonderful sponsor this time is our own Tindaloo, who is offering 3 images to the winner! For my project, I created a baby card using an old image from Beccy’s Place. I believe this one has been retired, as I can’t find it anywhere in the store anymore, but there is a lot of other images there that will get you drooling! I colored the teddy bear with my Copics, then fussy cut him out.

I decided to make a rocker card this time, and cut the base with a pierced circle die. I used a smaller die from the same set to cut the white piece, then matted it with a fancy edged circle die cut. To add a bit of color to my neutral card, I used some blue scraps of card stock to cut the congrats sentiment, pins, as well as a sprinkling of hearts and dots. A few grey sprinkles balance things out.

I’d like to enter this in the following challenges:

Beccy’s Place Challenge – May ATG with option of dig through your stash and use some stuff you’ve had for ages (Beccy’s image, the fancy circle die)

  1. Wow, what a great card! I LOVE the way you’ve coloured the image Susan, the stippling has added lots of awesome texture, and his nose actually looks like it’s been stitched! I also like the colour scheme… neutral greys with a hint of blue. Gorgeous!

  2. I absolutely love this card! A gorgeous image and your colouring is fab – especially the way you’ve added texture to the bear!
