Gladioli

Hi there 🙂 Today, I have some inspiration for the current Sheepski Designs Facebook challenge. All of our challenges are ATG, but if you need a little bit of a nudge to get started, there’s always an optional theme, as well. This time, that option is Ribbons/Bows. I colored up the gorgeous Gladioli image with my Copics, in my very favorite glad color, deep red.

The background paper is some that I’ve had a long time, and it just jumped out at me. After layering things up, I added some thin red ribbon, in the same shade as the glads, then popped a red bow onto a printed, die cut one. To finish things off, I added a few square, red gems 🙂

I’d like to enter this in the following:

Crafter’s Cafe – #236 Use Pink and/or Red

Incy Wincy Designs – Feb. 17-29 ATG

Dream Valley Challenge – #219 Hand Colored Image

Tuesday Throwdown – #451 Use Your Favorite Color RED!!! 🙂

  1. Wow! love this card, simple and elegant. I have a very soft spot for Gladioli, especially the red ones, my grandmother always had them in her house a Christmas. Thanks for entering your wonderful creation at The Crafter’s Cafe this fortnight.

  2. What lovely gladioli! They have always been a favorite of mine. Thank you for sharing at the Crafter’s Cafe.
