Penguin Buddies

Hi there 🙂 With all the cold weather and snow that we’ve been getting, Christmas and winter cards are where my mojo is taking me lately.  I’ve had this image, Percy and Pete’s Find (the picture in the link is different, but the file name is the same), from Di’s Digi Stamps for a long time, and can’t believe I haven’t used it until now – it is just the sweetest!!!  I colored these sweeties up with my Prismacolor pencils, and added a background of trees (the guys had to pick their tree from somewhere, right?  lol).  I then added the snow by dotting on some white acrylic paint, as my gel pen died on me 🙁

I dug through my scrap bin and found a number of pieces that coordinated well with each other, and the image, and began distressing and laying them out.  I die cut some snow flakes to peek from around the image, and managed to partially cut one, to make the tag for the sentiment which was computer generated.  Lastly, and before gluing everything down, I tied some twine around the middle just to bring everything all together 🙂  I have a few penguin loving friends, who I’m sure would be thrilled to receive this cute card next Christmas!!

I’d like to enter this in the following:
