Santa Paws

Hi there 🙂 Now that this card has reached it’s destination, I can share it here. When I saw the image Santa Paws, from Mo’s Digital Pencil, the pup reminded me of my own Java – before he gets a haircut! I had to do it up for my kid – even though Eden says that he is the “worst” dog, it’s said with a twinkle in the eye, and they always sing duets together <3 I colored the image with my Copics, matching up Java’s colors as close as I could.

I wanted to do a card that was a bit different, so went with one that has a see through side on the front (look at me talking all technical lol). I used a buffalo plaid on the 2 panels on the front, to match my kid and their partners matching Christmas pj’s. I attached the image, then used a Tim Holtz die to cut some holly. I carefully positioned the holly over the space, and along the panels before adding some berries.

You can see the “space” a bit better here.

I added some clear Nuvo drops to the berries for some dimension, then popped on a stamped sentiment to finish the card off.

I’d like to enter this in the following:
